In this Mediterranean inspired design we team up with Builder Boy to bring this beauty to life. Satin & Slate designed the finishes and Builder Boy took care of the stucco part of the project. The size of the house and the scope of the project made it easy to see why the homeowners wanted to go with something grand and sophisticated.

The fireplace is the wow factor in this project, this is achieved not only by the size of the fireplace but also by its location. The decorative ornamentation on the mantel gives this project the final push to become the focal point.
From any angle this fireplace is a work of art; the inspiration is found in the Mediterranean style of ornamentation. It is the main point of this hallway leading to the living room and it is complemented by iron candles and an elegant mirror.
As a staple of Mediterranean inspiration the beams were placed throughout the house to give the design a cohesive look.
They make the house look sophisticated and elegant because they not only attract the attention of guess upwards but they also dress the ceiling with an interesting detail.
The warm colors of this project are a staple in Mediterranean inspiration, they keep this project cohesive and clean. The most commonly used Mediterranean paint colors tend to be warm and neutral.
Colors range from lighter shades of straw to sandy beige and dark brown. Other warm Mediterranean colors have muted red and rich yellow hues and include brick red, terracotta, peach and ochre.
